Am I the only one that noticed the contradiction?

“We have freezing temperatures when we shouldn’t have freezing temperatures.

“Warmer temperatures in her farming area have spurred plant diseases, and the quality of agricultural seeds has degenerated,"

So is she saying that the frost free season is shorter than it was and at the same time saying that the temperature has increased? One of those statements has to be false, it can not be both colder and warmer at the same time.

You would think that someone so smart that the electorate placed him one heartbeat away from leadership of the freeworld would have caught the illogic of this statement. Also, the quality of the seeds is not affected by the weather.

There are places in Peru where it almost never rains, the Capitol, Lima being one. Cars do not, generally have widshield wiper blades, as I discovered when I accidentally turned on the wipers and scratched my mother-in-law's windshield. There are natural flutuations (El Nino being the most famous) that once in a decade or two cause torrential rains in these same places. Young people are especially surprised at the ferocity of these rains, especially since nobody has built homes with any regard that rain might happen. There are also temperature flucuations at these times, as you might imagine.

Having worked in Peru a good bit, married a Peruvian and conversed at great length with my in-laws (some of whom are quite ancient(see Mother-in-law)), I can claim to be expert enough to tell you that Al is making a big deal out of the commonplace!

Not CO2 - that is the myth. More Solar activity would do the job - good luck controlling that. By the way: someone somewhere says its too cold, someone somewhere else says its too hot - who is right. Put ten people in a room with a thermostat and you will get ten different settings.
