Via The Chilling Effect (hat tip: Climate Depot):

The Hill is reporting that “The House may not vote on a climate change bill this year, according to a high-ranking Democratic leader.” That leader is Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, and he says the problem is that a bill probably wouldn’t pass the Senate, according to the paper:

Van Hollen, 50, became the highest-ranking House Democrat to say that even if an agreement is reached, the House may not vote on a cap-and-trade bill if the bill appears to have little hope of clearing the upper chamber.

Meantime, the GORE LIED computer model shows the future public belief in man-made global warming will plummet from 34% in 2009 to 25% in 2010.gore_lied_http_algorelied_com_computer_model31

Yes, the computer model is tongue-in-cheek, but the historical trend doesn’t lie.  If the trend continues toward greater public disbelief in man-made global warming, this delay on the congressional climate bill will hurt rather than help Al Gore’s cause – so any delay is certainly good news for the realists.
