An excerpt from the interview:
John Roberts: A recent Pew poll found that global warming ranks last on a list of people’s top priorities. I read an analysis by Gallup poll editor Frank Newport recently who said there’s no evidence that the campaign against global warming is, uh, is, is winning, uh, it says, quote, it’s just not caught on and any measure we look at shows Al Gore’s losing at the moment, the public is just not that concerned. He says the public is concerned about the economy. Are you worried that concerns about the economy are eclipsing the work that you are trying to do?
Al Gore: …and as for those polls John, I, I strongly disagree with the couple that you mentioned. There are other polls that show that very, very high percentages of Americans now believe very strongly that we do have an obligation to solve this crisis, and that we can help our economy as we do so.
Which polls Al? Sure, the polls from two years ago, just after An Inconvenient Truth was released, show that the public was concerned. However, since the hockey stick has been destroyed, and it’s become widely recognized that the earth has cooled for eleven years now, the polls have swung in the other direction.

Diseases are moving north because of AGW? But Al – we don’t have global warming. The globals temps at this moment are exactly the same as they were 100 years ago.
Love the way he infers that a vote for the economy is a vote for climate “Crisis”.
Good point. And if the earth has cooled for the past eleven years, as they have, could we not infer that diseases have actually been moving back toward the equator since 1998.
Al would probably counter by saying that the diseases are actually reading his computer models, and are aware that despite cooling it’s actually evidence of warming, and therefore the diseases understand that they should continue moving farther north (or south in southern lat’s) despite the cooling. Ya followin’ this? It’s Gore logic.
I think people must know its not a crisis, they don’t believe the lies of the likes of Al Gore and his minions, James Hanson and Micheal Mann the manipulators of scientific data, the IPCC world institute of liars. I don’t understand why any one believes the propaganda, when all they have to do is know a little history and know they are being lied to, like the hockey stick.
Gore should see what this last winter (rated #35 out of all the years they’ve been keeping record) did to our evergreens/pines here in Iowa.
Forgot to mention that “global” warming is a physical impossibility.
