Unabashed honesty from a Dem Kossack:

Wrong bill at the wrong time (0+ / 0-)

If Reid is smart, he will bury this bill.

Never try to pass an anti-global warming bill after the coldest year in a decade and never pass a tax increase in the middle of the worst recession in a generation.

The Democrats are going to need every dime of political capital they have to pass health care reform.

… but a lot of frowsy little Congresspersons bet away their chances for their next re-elections, didn’t they.

All their opponents have to do ito beat them out in the next go-around is advertise, “your present twerp voted for imposing laws on you THAT HE DIDN’T EVEN READ or understand because they were the sycophants of their sickening management who sickeningly foisted this crap covertly on their lap dogs in an hour before the actual vote.”

So, Congresspersons without visible means of support next November or the one following it, looks like you’ll have to return to the criminal or sordid enterprises you were engaged in before you decided you were Representative material.

The United States of America won’t miss you one G-D bit.

uh, Al, uh, … say, I uh, lost my job the last go-round,and uh, I did like you told me and voted for that, waxman thing and, uh, I was kind of wondering, since, uh, you told me I could call on you for a favor in returm if, uh, you might need an extra hand, uh, helping to – say, uh, clean your swimming pool or sauna or something at your place until, I can,uh, maybe get back on my feet again

    Al’s response:

“Now tell me, ah, what’s … what’s your name again? … and you’re from, from, …from where is it, now?”
