A Mother Nature Network blogger wonders:

The question is worth asking. You’d have to be pretty tone deaf not to realize the score to which we’ve all been dancing has hit a few sour notes of late: the failure of the Copenhagen COP-15 talks, Climategate, and last week’s State of the Union address (with its litany of nukes, coal, and offshore drilling). An unfortunate series of temporary setbacks, perhaps.

The problem with being a one-issue movement is it only takes a single game changer to bring everything to a standstill.

Do you suppose he could be referring to Climategate? 😉

The green movement has been given far too much exposure for far too long, they have hyped themselves into extinction. We all agree that controlling pollution is a good thing, but the days of liberal environmentalism are over. It was a bad religion growing out of control. Greenpeace are out of control. WWF are out of control, oversized propaganda machines. It’s a time to return to science, new open source peer reviewed science.

The wheels of any successful economy is driven by cheap reliable energy, without it humanity suffers.

I agree, Jack. Using computer lingo, climate science needs to be re-booted, the cache cleared, re-install the operating system and start from scratch. The fraudulent science has tainted just about every study and article purporting to support the AGW hypothesis. We need to start over.

      Thanks for your comment.
