The truth about GORE LIED

The main point here at GORE LIED is that Al Gore lied about anthropogenic global warming. It’s pretty simple. I repeat that often, and prove it over and over. While that is my main quest, I also hope to entertain you along the way.

I’m not a scientist, but neither is Al Gore. If he can pontificate on this political issue, so can I. Yes, it is a political issue – Gore made it one.

Anyone can have and write a blog, and I am proof of that.  The only professional credential I have that might remotely qualify me to write this blog is that I have a degree in Journalism.  That’s not to say that I ever wanted to be a journalist, because I didn’t – and I wasn’t.  Long story.  In writing this blog I don’t consider myself a journalist, and never refer to myself as one on the blog.  I’m an average writer who has occasional bursts of creative energy that result in entertaining and informative posts that my readers respond to positively.  That keeps me going.

I’m not a shill for Big Oil.  I’m a concerned citizen with a (self-employed) day job that is unrelated to the subject matter of this blog.  I never intended to make any money from this blog, and reality has proven me correct.  Nobody pays me to write the posts, and I have no ad revenue.  Actually, I lose money from this blog.  It costs me about $80 per year for the domain and the hosting, but the lost opportunity costs of time away from my day job are high.  I’d rather not think about it, much less sit down and calculate it.  But, I can afford to carry on with the blog for now, and so I do.

Sometimes, I don’t post for a few days or longer.  Don’t worry, I’ll be back.  Sometimes these breaks occur when there is breaking news going on in the global warming world or Al Gore has just told another whopper, and it goes totally unreported here.  Faithful readers may wonder, “Why?”  It’s probably for one of the following reasons:

  1. I’m working at my day job.
  2. I’m on vacation.
  3. I’m spending time with my family.
  4. I’m sick.
  5. I’m lacking inspiration, and need a break.
  6. The subject matter has already been covered ad nauseam everywhere else on the web.

If the journalists and the main-stream media were doing their job and reporting on the fraud of man-made global warming, I wouldn’t need to write this blog.  But they don’t, so I do.

The Climategate scandal has proved that the data that comprised the foundation for anthropogenic global warming is fraudulent, and as a result has tainted virtually every other study, conclusion, and public policy “solution” that had been produced or proposed.  Therefore, GORE LIED firmly believes that Al Gore, and any other scientists or governmental officials that continue to fan the flames of man-made global warming alarmism to stoke public support for “solutions” that prove to enrich them in money or power be held legally liable for foisting a fraud on the public.

It’s also worth pointing out that despite my not even trying to reduce my CO2 emissions, my carbon footprint is about 1/20th of Al Gore’s – perhaps even less.

NOTE: I’ve considered adding other authors to contribute posts to this blog.  If you have decent writing skills, and have a desire to contribute, click on the Contact tab to drop me an e-mail.  No guarantees.  Final decision on acceptance rests with me.

  2. I’m the producer for the movie ‘An Inconsistent Truth.’ The movie opens at the Regal Hollywood 27 in Nashville January 27. Since the movie is now rated the MPAA has asked us to take down all the other trailers for the movie except the official trailer. So that you may update your page that features our movie, here’s the link to the official trailer:

  4. New Judith Curry Interview Just Published: The IPCC May Have Outlived its Usefulness

    Dear Editor,

I just wanted to send you a quick mail to let you know that we have conducted a very interesting interview with the well known climatologist Judith Curry.
It’s a very balanced interview and I thought you and your readers may be interested in reading about Judith’s concerns for climate science, how climate change is affecting the planet, reasons for the increase in scepticism and why climate scientists have lost touch with the public.

You can read the full interview at: http://oilprice.com/The-Environment/Global-Warming/The-IPCC-May-Have-Outlived-its-Usefulness-An-Interview-with-Judith-Curry.html

Some of the questions we asked Judith are:

    Q. You have said in the past that you were troubled by the lack of cooperation between organizations studying climate change, and that you want to see more transparency with the data collected. How do you suggest we encourage/force transparency and collaboration?
    Q. Do you feel climatologists should be putting more effort into determining the effect of the sun on our climate? As the IPCC primarily focuses on CO2 as the cause of climate change – Is the importance of CO2 overestimated and the importance of the sun is underestimated?
    Q. What are your views on the idea that CO2 may not be a significant contributor to climate change?

The full interview is at: http://oilprice.com/The-Environment/Global-Warming/The-IPCC-May-Have-Outlived-its-Usefulness-An-Interview-with-Judith-Curry.html

I hope you find the interview interesting.

    Best regards,

    James Stafford
