More over-the-top, jump-the-shark alarmist video:

05  Albert Fish:
Child molester and cannibal.
He was also known as the Gray Man.
He cut his victims in small pieces and ate them. Convicted and executed in January 16, 1936.

04  Elizabeth Bathory:
A Hungarian countess from the renowned Bathory family, also known as the “Blood Countess”.
She was bathing in the blood of virgins in order to retain her youth. (Over 600 victims)
In 1610, she was imprisoned in Cachtice Castle for four years, until her death.

03 Charles Manson:
An American criminal who led what became known as the Manson Family a quasi-commune that arose in California in the late 1960’s
Also his music inspired a lot of bands like Guns N’ Roses
He is still a prisoner at Corcoran State Prison

02 Jack the Ripper:
A pseudonym given to a serial killer in the late 19th century
His victims were women earning incomes as prostitutes
Also he possessed anatomical and surgical knowledge
His identity has never been confirmed

01  Mrs. and Mrs. You:
A modern human, who is part of a big murder
Killing the world everyday with tiny personal mistakes which led to big impacts on global warming

Consuming water irresponsibly

Ignoring fuel efficiency

Not recycling

Flying unnecessarily

And many big mistakes

Effects on nature:
Melting glaciers at high rates (between 1920 and 2005)

Effects on wildlife:
If the Arctic ice cap continues to melt, polar bears will be extinct by the end of this century

Effects on earth and oceans:
Drought is growing permanently and Global Warming is destroying coral reefs

Effects on humanity:
Katrina hurricane, Tsunami and many more disasters end up with thousands of deaths and millions of homeless people

I’m having a hard time believing that as “Mr. and Mrs. You” are watching this, that Mrs. You will turn to Mr. You and say something like, “Oh my God! Honey, if we don’t buy a Prius we’re worse than Charles Manson!”

The source?

Realize your actions. Realize their consequences. Stop killing the world.

“Killers of the World” is a non profit project that aims to get each individual’s attention in modern society about Global Warming. Human nature is really complicated but it is easy to say that we like blaming others instead of accepting the reality.
We hope, we can give people an opportunity to see themselves from a different point of view.

This project created by MightyJuniors. Two headed Turkish creative group ( Aras Atasaygin and Bora Gökalp )

Meet Australia’s Clive Hamilton, a climate activist and “public intellectual”.  It seems Hamilton has been taking cues from Al Gore’s strategy of scaring folks with an “over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous [anthropogenic global warming] is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are”:

Well, quite frankly, if you’re not terrified you’re not listening to what the climate scientists are saying. We should be scared. We are facing a nightmare scenario. I know people want to feel hopeful and optimistic about it, but I think we are beyond feeling hopeful, and the only way to get people to take the necessary action is to scare the pants off of them.

Don’t let this man near your children.

Thomas Richard at Climate Change Fraud writes:

The excerpted article below, Hurricane barriers floated to keep sea out of NYC, written by Jennifer Peltz of the Associated Press, is a tutorial on how to create a groundless, baseless, fear-mongering hit piece. First, you begin with a frightening opening paragraph just in case the reader wasn’t paying attention to the headline:

When experts sketch out nightmare hurricane scenarios, a New York strike tends to be high on the list. Besides shaking skyscrapers, a major hurricane could send the Atlantic Ocean surging into the nation’s largest city, flooding Wall Street, subways and densely packed neighborhoods.

Continue with a possible, though improbable, solution as ridiculous and embarrassing as the subject itself:

As a new hurricane season starts Monday, some scientists and engineers are floating an ambitious solution: Barriers to choke off the surging sea and protect flood-prone areas. The plan involves deploying giant barriers and gates that would move into place — in some cases rising out of the water — for storms. One proposal calls for a 5-mile-long barrier between New Jersey and Queens.

Glob on some more alarm and what-if scenarios:

New Yorkers are “living under the volcano, and people haven’t thought about it,” says Douglas Hill, an engineer who began discussing the idea several years ago with Stony Brook University oceanography professor Malcolm J. Bowman.
