This video was apparently shot from a “lookout on Cypress Mountain”. There’s one brief moment of excitement when the blue lights on the Lions Gate Bridge are turned off, but no others.
As the anticlimactic nature of this stunt becomes obvious to this group of observers you can then hear some nervous chuckles. One young lady who probably thinks she’s wasted an evening to go up to the top of this hill urges the city (turn up your volume):
“Come on people!”
And not long after that another young lady can be heard (turn up your volume again) rationalizing the obvious lack of participation:
“Some people might be off by a few minutes.”
Nah, it’s not that, sweetheart. They just don’t give a damn about Earth Hour.
This is an excerpt from a one hour YouTube video of a presentation that Energy Secretary Steven Chu made at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory on March 23, 2010.
“It’s fair to say we don’t understand these ripples. We don’t understand the downward trend that occurred in 1900 or in 1940. We don’t fully understand the plateau in the last decade.”
So Chu says we don’t understand the cooling spells, but he spends a good portion of the rest of the lecture saying there’s no question what causes the warming – us. But, wouldn’t an inability to explain the cooling put the entire theory on ice? Sure, unless you’ve got a Progressive political agenda to shill.
05 Albert Fish:
Child molester and cannibal.
He was also known as the Gray Man.
He cut his victims in small pieces and ate them. Convicted and executed in January 16, 1936.
04 Elizabeth Bathory:
A Hungarian countess from the renowned Bathory family, also known as the “Blood Countess”.
She was bathing in the blood of virgins in order to retain her youth. (Over 600 victims)
In 1610, she was imprisoned in Cachtice Castle for four years, until her death.
03 Charles Manson:
An American criminal who led what became known as the Manson Family a quasi-commune that arose in California in the late 1960’s
Also his music inspired a lot of bands like Guns N’ Roses
He is still a prisoner at Corcoran State Prison
02 Jack the Ripper:
A pseudonym given to a serial killer in the late 19th century
His victims were women earning incomes as prostitutes
Also he possessed anatomical and surgical knowledge
His identity has never been confirmed
01 Mrs. and Mrs. You:
A modern human, who is part of a big murder
Killing the world everyday with tiny personal mistakes which led to big impacts on global warming
REALIZE YOUR ACTIONS
Consuming water irresponsibly
Ignoring fuel efficiency
And many big mistakes
REALIZE THEIR CONSEQUENCES
Effects on nature:
Melting glaciers at high rates (between 1920 and 2005)
Effects on wildlife:
If the Arctic ice cap continues to melt, polar bears will be extinct by the end of this century
Effects on earth and oceans:
Drought is growing permanently and Global Warming is destroying coral reefs
Effects on humanity:
Katrina hurricane, Tsunami and many more disasters end up with thousands of deaths and millions of homeless people
I’m having a hard time believing that as “Mr. and Mrs. You” are watching this, that Mrs. You will turn to Mr. You and say something like, “Oh my God! Honey, if we don’t buy a Prius we’re worse than Charles Manson!”
Realize your actions. Realize their consequences. Stop killing the world.
“Killers of the World” is a non profit project that aims to get each individual’s attention in modern society about Global Warming. Human nature is really complicated but it is easy to say that we like blaming others instead of accepting the reality.
We hope, we can give people an opportunity to see themselves from a different point of view.
This project created by MightyJuniors. Two headed Turkish creative group ( Aras Atasaygin and Bora Gökalp )

There were 200 protesters at Gore’s Boca Raton appearance a few days ago, and around 500 at this one, i.e. about 400 around the stage at the American’s for Prosperity Hot Air Tour event, and at least another 100 walking around on the sidewalks on the perimeter of the park carrying anti-Gore/anti-cap and trade signs. The Greenpeace activists seemed a bit surprised/perturbed that they had vocal opposition in their presence.
The backlash against Al Gore is building!
Tomorrow I’ll post some of my own photos I shot at the rally/protest – so watch this space.
Al Gore: "I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are...."
